Get Paid to Shop at Fashionism

In any transaction there are hidden percentages that change hands. When you buy a car, a portion goes to the sales person, a portion to the dealership, then some to the manufacturer. Pretty much everything on the planet is 5% more than is should be since stores have to account for credit card sales. Fashionism wants to give it back to you. Amit Khera, a former Ralph Lauren marketing executive, founded, which launched last month. The short version of the story is you get paid to shop. You buy the same shit, and you buy it from the same places.

These are my actual favorites on my account, not hypotheticals. Yes, I buy shit from Sephora and Kiehl’s. I can’t rely on genetics to keep my skin tight! Ok, I probably could, but I like to nudge the odds whenever I get a chance.
Screen Shot 2013-12-01 at 9.22.50 PMAsos and ¬†Nordstroms are probably my two biggest online clothing expenses, so getting 4% back is pretty sweet. These are the standard deals though, and while they’re always there, it does get better. Screen Shot 2013-12-01 at 9.26.00 PMFashionism pulls in the sales, and dope offers for all your favorite brands. So if you’re hip to hop to, you can get your account going and get 20% off at Asos for cyber Monday, AND get 4% of whatever you spend back. If that doesn’t sound like a lot, remember VISA’s entire business is built on getting 3% of your transactions. Get that shit back! I’m definitely moving on this deal from Kiehl’s. If you’re not already dripping in their Creme de Corps you’re not living. Screen Shot 2013-12-01 at 9.30.28 PM

You definitely want to get in and check out the sales at Nordstrom’s too. They’re offering up to 20% off on a lot of things. Many of which are already on sale.

This is the tip of the iceberg though. Rag and Bone, Helmut Lang, Burberry, YSL, the list goes on and on, and they call kick you cash back. Just for buying shit you would have bought anyway.

I know, tomorrow is Cyber Monday and I’m not giving you a lot of time to move on these deals. So you better get on it. Remember those these round of sales should be used for buying gifts for others. Go HAM on yourself on the after Christmas sales. Enjoy all the loot you’er going to get back from Fashionism though. If you feel compelled to share it with us for turning you onto this, we’ll understand.
